Skar Audio takes immense pride in offering a 2 Year Hassle Free Limited Warranty on all products sold directly through Skar Audio's official website or any authorized Skar Audio retailer within the contiguous United States, ensuring unparalleled peace of mind for our valued customers. Our commitment is to provide an exceptional purchasing experience, and in the rare instance that an issue arises, we aim to streamline the resolution process without any unnecessary hurdles.

Refund requests and warranty shipping have different deadlines. Our Return Policy allows eligible refund requests within 30 days of delivery. For eligible warranty claims, the prepaid inbound label window is 30 days from the order date (purchase date). After that, customers pay inbound shipping unless customer support explicitly approves a prepaid label. This shipping-cost window is separate from the product's applicable warranty coverage period. Follow your approved claim instructions before shipping.

Please note that warranties are non-transferable in the event of product resale or purchase from a third party.

We recommend professional installation and tuning by a qualified car audio installer. Proper wiring, electrical protection, enclosure selection, and amplifier settings help prevent damage. Professional installation does not extend coverage to installation or tuning errors.

Warranty shipping is limited to the contiguous United States. Skar Audio provides warranty shipping only within the lower 48 states. Customers outside that area must arrange any additional transportation and costs with customer support before sending a product for evaluation.

Products sold under a USED- or RFBISH- SKU prefix — including open-box, used, and certified-refurbished inventory listed by Skar Audio on third-party marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, and other reseller channels — carry a 1-Year Limited Warranty from the original date of purchase, rather than the standard 2-Year Limited Warranty that applies to brand-new products purchased through our official website or authorized retailers. This shorter coverage window reflects the fact that these units have prior use, prior testing, or were sold at a discount specifically because they fall outside of the new-product category.

How to identify a USED- or RFBISH- purchase: Check the SKU on your order confirmation, packing slip, or marketplace listing. SKUs beginning with USED- or RFBISH- are covered by this 1-year window. If you are unsure, our customer-service team can confirm the warranty class of your specific purchase — please have your order number ready when contacting us.

Used and refurbished products may show signs of prior use, including scratches, scuffs, dents, or other cosmetic wear. Cosmetic condition and disclosed wear do not qualify as manufacturing defects under the limited warranty. Functional manufacturing defects remain subject to the warranty terms above.

All other terms of this warranty (what is covered, what is excluded, RMA requirements, shipping responsibilities, etc.) apply to USED- and RFBISH- purchases the same way they apply to new products. Claims received more than one year after the original date of purchase for a USED- or RFBISH- item fall outside the coverage window and follow the same out-of-window handling described in the Claims Received After the Coverage Window section below — return shipping at the customer's expense, with the unit recycled if return shipping is not paid within thirty (30) days of the denial notice.

Skar Audio's 2-Year Limited Warranty serves as a safeguard against any defects stemming from the original manufacturing of your purchased product(s). Rest assured, should any manufacturing flaws arise, they will be promptly addressed, relieving you of any responsibility for issues arising from such defects. However, it's important to note that the warranty does not extend to products that have been compromised due to specific circumstances, including:

• Damage resulting from mishandling (such as dropping the product(s) or damage from foreign objects)
• Misuse of the product, including operating it beyond recommended specifications (e.g., overpowering speakers/subwoofers, torn surrounds, running an amplifier below a 1 ohm load)
• Negligence or abuse, including inadequate packaging during return shipment
• Incorrect installation, including instances of professional installation
• Damage caused by clipping and/or distortion due to improper tuning
• Products that appear to have been tampered with, modified, or repaired
• Theft of the product
• Purchases made from unauthorized Skar Audio dealers

* Additionally, repeated returns of the same item displaying identical damage may be considered indicative of abuse and will not be covered under warranty.

Skar Audio conducts rigorous testing on each product submitted for warranty evaluation, employing experienced professionals equipped with top-tier tools to ensure accurate defect determination. Our assessments adhere to stringent standards, and warranty coverage is determined at Skar Audio's sole discretion based on these criteria.

Claims must include accurate information and authentic photographs or videos of the product and any reported damage. Skar Audio reserves the right to request original images, additional documentation, or a physical inspection, and to deny fraudulent claims, including claims supported by altered or AI-generated evidence that misrepresents the product, its condition, or the circumstances of the claim.

If a product is returned within 2 years of purchase and is found to be defective according to our warranty standards, it will be replaced.

Skar Audio reserves the right to replace any eligible item covered under warranty with a used or certified-refurbished unit of comparable quality. In the case of discontinued products being replaced under warranty, Skar Audio may substitute them with the most similar model available.

If your item passes testing, it will be returned to you unchanged. If issues persist, it may indicate problems within your setup. We recommend consulting a local car audio shop for further inspection.

We prioritize returning your products promptly. Please allow 3 to 5 business days from the arrival date at our facility for testing and resolution of your claim.

Skar Audio's warranty covers manufacturing defects for two (2) years from the original date of purchase. Units received by our warranty department more than two years after the purchase date fall outside our coverage window, and the claim cannot be honored.

We will still ship your unit back to you if you'd like — however, return shipping is the customer's responsibility when a claim is outside the 2-year window. After the unit is received and reviewed, you'll get an email with the exact return-shipping cost and a secure payment link. Once payment is received, we'll generate a return label and ship your unit back to you.

If payment isn't received within thirty (30) days of the denial notice, the unit will be recycled rather than held in storage.

Shipments marked as delivered to the confirmed order address with carrier proof of delivery are not covered under shipping damage or loss claims.

For shipping damage eligible under this policy, claims must be submitted via warranty or return within the first thirty (30) days from the date of delivery. If a shipping-damage claim is submitted more than 30 days after the delivery date, Skar Audio will not offer replacements, refunds, or repairs for damage attributed to shipping or transit handling. This policy applies globally to all products sold by Skar Audio, regardless of category.

We strongly encourage customers to inspect every shipment immediately upon delivery. Document any visible damage to the packaging or product with clear photographs before unboxing further, and contact our support team right away so a claim can be opened while the carrier's claim window is still active.

While enclosures are highlighted here because shipping damage is most common with these products, the 30-day shipping-damage window is a global policy that applies to amplifiers, speakers, subwoofers, wiring kits, and every other product offered by Skar Audio.

For any product(s) requiring replacement under warranty, Skar Audio necessitates their return. Prior to shipping items back to Skar Audio for evaluation, it is mandatory to obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Items returned without an assigned RMA number will be sent back without assessment.

For eligible warranty claims within 30 days of the order date, Skar Audio provides a prepaid return label. After that window, customers arrange and pay for inbound shipping unless customer support explicitly approves a prepaid label. This shipping window starts at purchase, not delivery. Follow your approved claim instructions before shipping. Skar Audio covers outbound shipping for an approved warranty replacement. It's crucial to ensure proper care and packaging during shipment to prevent any damage. Items arriving damaged due to improper packaging or shipping will not be evaluated under warranty and will be returned to the customer upon receipt.

Items being replaced or returned following the determination of your warranty claim will be shipped to the original address provided at the time of purchase. If the original order address differs from where the item or its replacement should be sent, it is the customer's responsibility to specify the correct return address when shipping the items to Skar Audio.

Skar Audio cannot provide replacements for shipments sent to the address listed on the original order if prior notice of the intent to ship to an alternate address was not given.
