VD-10 | 10" 800 Watt Max Power Car Subwoofer (Shallow Mount)

These subs are great, especially for a small box. I'm really happy with my purchase. I recommend at least a 1000 RMS amp to fully unlock the potential of the subs!

I am new to figuring out subwoofers. I purchased this to fit my Alpine 10 truck box. The Alpine subwoofer was a single voice coil 2 ohm, so I bought a 2 ohm. I am running an Alpine MRV M500 amp. I'm not sure if that was the correct subwoofer to match with this. I wired it according to the directions from the website for a 4 ohm load. I'm still trying to figure out how to optimize the sound with what I have. The subwoofer is great, though I'm not sure if I have the right setup for it.

I installed these in my 2019 F-150, and all I can say is that they are impressive! I am very impressed with these shallow mount speakers. From now on, I will purchase from Skar Audio Audio. The quality, price, and performance are all exceptional.

The local sound competition reignited my passion for bass in my ride, and soon, Skar Audio ads for the summer sale started to appear on my feed. I promptly ordered some subs and began designing an enclosure. Needless to say, I am very pleased with the results. The box is 7.5 cubic feet with port tuning at 35hz. These subs rock the car with both force and volume!

Install it in a 2019 Tacoma and it will shake the entire car. When maxed out, you can feel it moving the air around you. The installation process is super simple and I'm really happy with the outcome. It's solid for the price, especially if you're on a budget like me. If you're looking for a gnarly shallow-mount sub, this is definitely the one for you.

I needed to replace the previous setup, and Skar Audio was recommended. There is a night and day difference, and it looks nice in the setup.

I purchased two of these subwoofers to go in the Skar Audio Audio enclosure made for my 2018 Tundra CrewMax. These speakers we're a perfect fit, and they sound amazing! I will continue to use Skar Audio Audio products in my future builds!

The speaker sounds great, but one of the two blew out, and I also do not like the layout of the holes in the rubber around the speakers. If you have to take the speaker out of the box, it tears the rubber in half. Skar Audio Audio sent me a replacement for the blown speaker after I sent in the old one. I am kind of scared to turn it up now.

I decided that I wanted to put subs under the backseat of my truck. I ordered them, along with the amp, through Skar Audio Audio, and they arrived by noon the next day! We got the wiring from OReillys and had everything hooked up by Friday. I ordered my box through JB Tools, a mom-and-pop hardware store in Michigan, and it also arrived the next day by noon!

I have had three of these things for almost a year now, and they are still bumping with no problem. They produce 145db with a simple build! These things work great!

These subs are great if you have limited space. I put them in Skar Audio's underseat box for a 2004-2008 F150. The only problem I had with them was that the rubber lip around the outside rim of the subs blocked the mounting holes, making it a little harder to mount. Other than that, they are great subs.

I am very pleased with the performance of my single VD-10 and 350.1 mono in my F150. The custom-fit box built under the seat produces exactly the sound I was hoping for, if not a bit more.

Added these to a Jeep with a factory 8-inch. Sounds great for an open-air setup.

I bought two of these 10-inch subs, and they hit hard enough. I'll just say that. I bought a box from the local shop, Custom Enclosures, and I installed them myself. They are dual-coil speakers, and I wired the coils and the subs in parallel. For the price, I'm very satisfied.

I bought two of these for my 1997 Tacoma. These sound great. I've never had shallow subs before; this is my first time. Since I don't have that much space in my Tacoma, I thought these would be the way to go. I don't regret buying these at all.

This is my first experience with Skar Audio Audio products, and I'm pleased with the quality for a great price. The big magnets, quality materials, and good stitching on the cones provide accurate sound reproduction. These 10-inch shallow mount woofers fit perfectly in a Tacoma DoubleCab behind the backseat box. They are accurate and produce some good thump when fed 1000 watts RMS @ 1 ohm in a sealed box. Once they break-in, I'll increase the watts a bit. These VD shallows are exactly what I was looking for, and for an excellent price. I definitely recommend them.

Solid sound, even for a sealed under-seat enclosure.
