IX-12 | 12" 500 Watt Max Power Car Subwoofer

For the price point, you can't beat this sub.

I also purchased this sub back in November. Now, after adequate and abusive use, it still plays down to 28hz and has a presence. I will admit that this is why I'm a Skar Audio fan all the way. It is literally playing in a sawdust-filled vented box, and it's all sucked up in the motor without even knowing it. It's playing strong with no smell, and the spider is still stiff too. In six months, I'll review my recent purchase, giving me enough time to actually use it.

I have one of these on a Bash 300S in my room, and wow! For 100 bucks, this thing is way louder than my blown PSW505. I will definitely be buying more Skar Audio products in the future.

Man, I paired these 12s with the 500.1D, and holy cow, they sound amazing in my C10.

One of the best 12s Skar Audio has for the price. Unbeatable. Definitely recommend it. I put it in a random box that I had, and it sounds great in my girl's car. It's hard to see the rearview mirror moving, but it does, and it was only on 20.

These are badass. There's no other way to put it. They hit deep and shatter the mid-bass. I couldn't ask for anything better. I had just one and thought this would be perfect with one more. So, long story short, get 2. You won't regret it. They are dual 2 ohm and require 1.5 cubic ft sealed enclosure.

Sounds great! I installed it in a single cab 98 Ford Ranger. The box is 1.25 cubic feet after sub and port displacement.

My father wanted to get back into the audio game. I recommended these speakers due to their price point limits. I built a custom enclosure tuned to 34hz and also did a bunch of extra stuff for the build, but let's just say the subs surprised me! Nothing crazy, just nice bass for the money. I bought him a Skar Audio RP 1,200 and it sounds great. He wanted to shake and quake a little more, so he upgraded to EVL 12s. Since he's never had anything like it before, he's officially SKARED!!! for life!

These speakers were a part of a bigger 16th birthday present - we also ordered the Skar 2x12" ported enclosure and the Skar 800.1 mono amplifier. Wow, it is awesome. This setup hits hard on bass songs, but also delivers just the right amount of bass on the softer side of songs. It is really nice. If you are in the market for 250 watts RMS, get one. 250-500 RMS is absolutely perfect for a four door vehicle. If you want 500 RMS, get the set up we did. Fast delivery, superb equipment, and clear quality sounds!

Building boxes in my free time has been absolutely killer for the money. The last two boxes I built have been amazing. I wasn't expecting such good bass from them.

I highly recommend Skar Audio Audio. Both subs came late, but that's on the shipping company, not Skar Audio. They sound better than expected for a lower-end subwoofer. With two of these IX12's in my single cab pickup, you can't even hear the 3-inch straight pipes.

Fantastic subwoofer for the price, but don't push it too hard. I will have to upgrade because this sub is incapable of handling the Rp 600.5.

They are asking me to review these subs on February 18th. To be honest, I have not installed them in my ride yet because it has been -20 degrees outside. However, I received my purchase really fast. For an entry-level sub, they are built very well! Even though I have not put them in my car yet, I have high expectations for them. I also picked up a double 12 enclosure from Skar Audio and mounted them in it. I honestly can't wait for the weather to break so I can put everything in my ride! More reviews will come when that happens!

These subs are the best ever for $50.

Absolutely satisfied with my purchase. Great quality, great price, and on-time shipping. I purchased these IX12s as a temporary fill-in until I can save a little more to get a pair of EVL15s. If these $50 subs sound this good, I can only imagine what those will sound like. I'm scared for life!
